Kadavar was an Italian death metal band from Milan that was formed in 2007 and split up in 2009.

history

The band was formed in January 2007 and emerged from the break up of the band Bleeding Eyes. Kadavar initially consisted of guitarist and singer Lorenzo Bidoli and bassist and singer Luca Colucci. After working on songs for two months, the band went to Milan's Love Centers Studios to record the first demo, Modern Human Vision of Madness . Appearances followed, including at the Iced Tears Festival. At the same time, guitarist Stefano Venir was replaced by Luca Braggion. In December 2007, the line-up of the band changed again when Filippo Mantovani was replaced by drummer Davide Bacchetta. With the new line-up, the band went to the Kaomao Studios in Milan to record the EP Conjuring the Void . A few months later, the recordings for the self-titled debut album followed, which took place in the 16th Cellar Studio in Rome . Towards the end of March 2009, the album was released through Punishment 18 Records . In April drummer Bacchetta left the band for personal reasons, which led to the breakup of the group.

style

The band played varied and classic death metal, comparable to the music of groups like Carcass , Morbid Angel and Death . The use of guitar solos is also characteristic.
