Kaffeebud is a song by the Cologne dialect group Bläck Fööss . It was written and arranged by Reiner Hömig in 1978 . The title was released as a single by EMI Electrola and on the LP Mer han 'nen Lid .

The piece is a cha-cha-cha and describes a typical morning in a Tchibo branch on Zülpicher Straße in the Sülz district of Cologne , where the composer regularly meets the musician Hans-Theo Bedorf and Hartmut Priess , the bassist of the Bläck Fööss met.
