Kai Falke is a comic series about a professional footballer , which was designed from 1974 by the Belgian Raymond Reding and Francoise Hugues.

Kai Falke is the star player at FC Barcelona . He is successful on the field but also has fast-paced adventures away from it. In his spare time he looks after the youngsters, especially the boy Pablito.

The series was developed in 1974 for the German magazine Zack on the occasion of the 1974 World Cup in Germany. A Dutch edition of the first story was released as an album under the title Max Falk . In 1980 and 1981 four albums were released by Koralle-Verlag .
In 1979 the series was resumed with a slightly revised concept. The Dutch edition was now published under the title Ronnie Hansen . In France, the series appeared as Eric Castel (the protagonist was French) in the short-lived magazine Super As, as an album series first with the Fleurus publishing house, volumes 4 and 5 with Hachette , then with Novedi , the final volume 16 with Dupuis .
From 2008 a complete edition in 16 volumes was published in German by Salleck Publications , newly translated by Eckart Schott.
