Kai Loeffler

Kai Löffler (born June 12, 1972 ) is a former German basketball player .

Life

From 1984 Löffler played in the youth team of MTV Giessen , in 1991 he switched to TV Lich , who had just been promoted to the 2nd basketball league at the time. In the 1998/99 season he achieved promotion to the basketball league with the Lich team, and thus the greatest success in the history of the Lich basketball department. Löffler was the top performer of the master troop. In the 1999/2000 Bundesliga season, the 1.88-meter-tall player was on the stage for the Licher, but missed the Bundesliga relegation with the Central Hesse. Löffler was used in 24 games in the Bundesliga, scoring an average of 3.3 points and doing the preparatory work for around two basket wins for his fellow men. Löffler's game with the best point scoring in the Bundesliga was on November 6, 1999, when he scored 15 points against Trier. After relegation from the Bundesliga, he returned to the 2nd Bundesliga with Lich and played for the team, which he partly led as captain, until 2002.
