The Kainan Maru Seamounts are deep-sea mountains in the cosmonaut seas off the Prince Harald Coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . They are located northeast of Gunnerus Ridge at a depth of 2224 m.

They are named after the research vessel Kainan Maru during the first Japanese Antarctic expedition (1910–1912) under the direction of Nobu Shirase .
