The Kaiser-Jubiläumssäule (also: Kaiser Franz Joseph-Jubiläumssäule ) is a statue in a green area on Freiheitsplatz in Stammersdorf in the 21st Viennese district of Floridsdorf .

history

The column was in 1908 for the 60th jubilee of Emperor Franz Joseph I. built.

description

A square base with an inscription plaque is located above a single-step base. On top of it is a high pillar, which is crowned by an eagle.

The following inscription can be read on the inscription panel: “FOR THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY / GOVERNMENT ANNIVERSARY / SR. MAJESTY OF THE / EMPEROR / FRANZ JOSEPH I. / 1848–1908 ”.
