The Cocoa Ordinance (KakaoV) is a German legal regulation for the food cocoa and chocolate .

The KakaoV implements Directive 2000/36 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 23, 2000 on cocoa and chocolate products for human consumption ( OJ EC No. L 197 p. 19) into German law.

The KakaoV regulates ingredients ( Section 2 ) and labeling ( Section 3 ) of cocoa and chocolate products.
