Cactus painter
The cactus painter named with the emergency name ( English Cactus Painter ) was an Attic vase painter of the black-figure style . His works are dated to the late 6th and early 5th centuries BC. Dated.
The cactus painter belonged to the Leagros group and only decorated lekyths . The vase painter drew pictures of particular delicacy, surpassing many other artists in the Leagros group. The cactus painter got his modern emergency name because of the prickly, pear-shaped fruits that adorned his palmette tendrils.
