Caliber (roller)

Caliber describes the profiling in the roll barrel for rolling long products . The circumferential grooves in the caliber rollers together with the grooves of the counter roller and the roller spacing result in the profile . When rolling in the open box groove, the groove height and the roller stroke determine the workpiece height. The closed caliber allows shaping on all sides.
