Kalvholmen (Vaxholm)
Kalvholmen is an island belonging to Sweden in the Stockholm archipelago .
The island belongs to the municipality of Vaxholm . It is located south of the island of Tynningö . To the east are the archipelago Stinasgrundet and Kalvhuvudet , to the west Stora Getfoten . The shipping route from the Baltic Sea to Stockholm runs south of Kalvholmen .
Kalvholmen stretches from northwest to southeast over about 500 meters, with a width of about up to 200 meters. The island is built on with several buildings mainly used as summer houses and partly wooded. The Kalvholmen brygga jetty is located on the south side of the island.
