Kalydon (mythology)
Kalydon ( Greek Καλυδών ) is a figure in Greek mythology .
He is the son of Aitolos and Pronoe and founder and namesake of the city of Kalydon in Aetolia . His brother Pleuron founded the eponymous Aetolian city of Pleuron . With Aiolia he had two daughters: Epicaste , who later married Agenor , and Protogeneia .
