Kamalshahr ( Persian کمالشهر), also Kamalabad , is the part of the Karaj administrative district in the Alborz province . In 2016 the city had over 141,000 inhabitants.
geography
The city is located in the south-eastern part of Alborz, south of the Elburs Mountains , near Karaj , the provincial capital.
history
The present congregation was founded in 1996.
climate
The Köppen-Geiger climate classification system classifies the climate as semi-arid (BSk).
economy
Kamalashahr has historically been an agricultural center. Today there is also an industrial area.
