Kami Rita Sherpa

Kami Rita Sherpa (* 1969 or 1970) is a Nepalese mountain guide from the Sherpa people .

On May 15, 2019, he was the only person so far to successfully climb Mount Everest for the 23rd time. He shared the previous record of 21 summit climbs with Apa Sherpa and Phurba Tashi Sherpa . At the time of the 23rd ascent, Kami Rita Sherpa was 49 years old. On May 21, 2019, he climbed Everest for the 24th time.

Kami Rita Sherpa works for the expedition company Seven Summit Treks .
