The Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre , Malawi , was originally intended for various purposes ( military parades , soccer games, etc.), but is now mostly used for soccer games.

It was built during colonial times and has seen several name changes since then. After the construction under Hastings Kamuzu Banda in 1964, it was called Langley Stadium , under President Bakili Muluzi it was renamed Chichiri Stadium (1997-2004). Muluzi's successor, Bingu wa Mutharika , finally renamed it Kamuzu Stadium in 2004 after the first President of Malawi, Hastings Kamuzu Banda .
