Kanch

The Kanch , according to various other authors also the Kaneh in its spelling and fathom , was a Hebrew measure of length. The measure today would correspond to the rod . The corresponding metric dimensions can be found in the articles of the individual dimensions of the dimensional chain.

  • 1 Kanch = 6 Amah / Ammah / Gomed ( cubits ) = 12 Zereth ( span ) = 36 Tephach (palm) = 144 Ezbesh / Etzba / Ezbah (fingers) about 2,966 meters
