history
Kansas City Brigade (2006-2008)
The franchise was founded in 2006 and once reached the playoffs as a brigade. There they failed in 2007 despite a better placement and home game at the Colorado Crushs . The 2006 and 2008 seasons ended with only three wins each. They therefore acted at the bottom of the table.
After the 2009 season was suspended by the AFL, the franchise announced that Kansas City would not participate in the 2010 season.
Kansas City Command (2011-2012)
The brigade changed its name to Command in 2010 and returned to the AFL after a one-year break. According to the owner, the reason for this is the league's improved financial concept.
The second term of the franchise in the AFL was just as unsuccessful. Only nine games were won in the following two seasons. Both times the playoffs were missed.
The Command broke up at the end of the 2012 season, also because the number of spectators fell from once more than 10,000 per game to just over 4,000.
