Kansri Boonpragob

Kansri Boonpragob ( Thai : กั ณ ฑ รี ย์ บุญ ประกอบ ; pronunciation: [ kan.siː bun.prà.kɔ̀p ]; other spellings: Kansee , Kansi or Kantaree Boonprakob ) is a Thai climatologist .

Boonpragob is a professor in the Department of Biology at the Science Faculty of Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok . She works there u. a. in research into acid rain .

Because of her research, Boonpragob was appointed to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change . In 2007 she was Vice-Chair of Working Group I “The Physical Science Basis” in a responsible position in the preparation of the fourth assessment report .
