Cape Lindsey is a cape at the western end of Elephant Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It marks the northern limit of Rodman Cove .
The name of the cape first appears on a map dating from 1822, based on the maps made by British sealer captain George Powell . The further naming background has not been passed down.
