The Cape Moyes is a cape on the coast of the East Antarctic Queen Marie-country . It protrudes 29 km west of Cape Dover into the Shackleton Ice Shelf .
Participants of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson discovered it. Mawson named it after Morton Henry Moyes (1886–1981), meteorologist on the expedition to the west base.
