The Catholic Chapel of St. Agatha is a listed church building in Werntrop , a district of Schmallenberg in the Hochsauerlandkreis ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

History and architecture

The single-nave chapel with 3/8 end and a small tower was built in the middle of the 17th century. A previous chapel was mentioned before the 16th century. The entrance is on the west side. The altar dates from the time it was built. The arched windows with lead glazing were used around 1950. The chapel was restored in 1988/89.
