Kapuzinerholzl

The Kapuzinerhölzl is an 18 hectare forest in Munich- Moosach . A small part of the Lohwald forest that surrounded the north and west of Munich for centuries is preserved in it.

It is located on Menzinger Strasse north of the Nymphenburg Palace Park and south of the Hartmannshofer Wald . The Hartmannshofer Bach flows through it .

The forest used to belong to the Capuchin Monastery in Munich and is now part of the Kapuzinerhölzl and Hartmannshofen protected landscape area, which has been designated since 1964 .
