Kareem Campbell
Kareem Campbell (born November 14, 1973 in Harlem , New York City ), grew up in Los Angeles, is a professional American skateboarder .
Career
Kareem started skating when he was nine. In 1993 he got his first sponsor, World Industries, and appeared in his first video, called New World Order . The first competition he won was the Slam City Jam in the Street category , which was held in Vancouver ( Canada ) in 1994 . A year later he became a professional skateboarder. In 1999 his son Reem Junio was born. From 2001 he supported the organization Learn To Skate , which was founded to teach people how to skateboard. He is also a playable character in the Tony Hawk's Skateboarding video game series .
