Karen Fröhlich (* as Karen Haude ) is a former German national hockey player .

Career

Karen Haude began playing hockey at MTV Braunschweig in 1967 , and in 1974 she moved to Eintracht Braunschweig . With the unity she won four German championships in the field and a championship title in indoor hockey.

For the German national team, Haude played a total of 60 international matches between 1978 and 1984 (52 on the field and 8 in the hall). In 1981 she became world champion in field hockey with the DHB selection . In addition, she won the European Indoor Hockey Championship with the national team in 1981 . In 1980 Haude was part of the German squad for the Olympic Games in Moscow , but due to the Olympic boycott of the Federal Republic of Germany, he did not take part in the tournament.

In 1981, Karen Haude was awarded the Silver Bay Leaf .
