Karen Simensen , married. Klæboe (born August 26, 1907 in Oslo ; † July 13, 1996 there ) was a Norwegian figure skater who started in a single run .

She won the bronze medal at the 1927 World Cup in Oslo, behind her compatriot Sonja Henie and the Austrian Herma Szabó and just ahead of Ellen Brockhöft . Three of the five judges came from Norway and it was this majority that brought her bronze. It was her only appearance at world championships . Her only appearance at the Olympic Games was in St. Moritz in 1928 , where she was sixteenth and third-best Norwegian after Sonja Henie and Edel Randem .

She later coached the Oslo Skøiteklub for several decades. She was also the first female chairman of the figure skating committee of the Norwegian Skating Association from 1950 to 1957.
