Kargilik is a district in Xinjiang , People's Republic of China . It belongs to the administrative area of the administrative district of Kashgar . It has an area of 28,928 km² and has 373,492 inhabitants (2003). Its main town is the large municipality Kargilik (喀格勒克 镇).
Administrative structure
At the municipality level, Kargilik consists of three large municipalities and 17 municipalities . These are:

- Greater community Uxxakbax (乌夏克巴什镇);

- Janggiliaski Township (江 格勒斯 乡);
- Community Jayterak (加依提勒克乡);
- Barin parish (巴 仁 乡);

- Community Yilkiqi (依力克其乡);
- Community Yitimlikum (依提木孔乡);
