In Norse mythology, Kári , the ruler of the winds, is the son of the frost giant Fornjótr , the father of the forces of nature. His brothers are Hlér , the sea and Logi , the fire. He is the father of Frosti or Jökull (depending on the source). In both sources he is the grandfather of Snær , the snow.

The Saturn moon Kari was named after Kári .
