Karin Stieringer

Karin Stieringer (born September 16, 1930 in Bremen ) is a German lawyer and politician ( SPD / CDU ) in Bremen. She was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

Stieringer initially worked as a shorthand typist. Then she studied at the University of Goettingen law and was then as a lawyer and notary in Bremen- Schwachhausen operates.

In addition to her job and politics, she raised five children.

politics

Stieringer became a member of the SPD Bremen in 1950 . In 1975 she moved to the CDU Bremen .

From 1971 to 1975 she was a member of the Bremen citizenship for around 16 years for the SPD and from 1979 to 1991 for the CDU, where she worked in various deputations and committees. From 1979 to 1987 she was deputy chairwoman of the data protection committee in the citizenry.
