Karina Bolaños

Karina Bolaños (* 1973 in Heredia ) was Vice Minister for Youth and Culture in Costa Rica until 2012 .

Since 2005, Bolaños has been involved in politics at the national level. In 2006 she became Deputy Minister for Youth and Culture under Óscar Arias Sánchez . Her political achievements include Costa Rica's first HIV / AIDS prevention program. In 2008 she took the lead in ratifying the treaty of the Ibero-American Convention on Children's Rights . In 1998 Bolaños had a daughter. Karina Bolaños was fired in 2012 and became known worldwide after she posted an erotic video on YouTube to get her ex-boyfriend to come back to her.
