Karl-Hermann Zoll

Karl-Hermann Zoll (born November 29, 1948 in Biedenkopf an der Lahn ) is a German lawyer . From 2002 to 2014 he was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Life

After completing his legal training, he entered the higher judicial service of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in September 1976. In December 1979 he was appointed judge at the Bonn Regional Court following a position as a trial reporter at the Regional Court and the Bonn Public Prosecutor's Office . From September 1986 to August 1989 he was seconded to the Federal Court of Justice as a research assistant. He was then appointed judge at the Cologne Higher Regional Court. He exercised this judicial office - interrupted by a secondment as a research assistant to the Federal Constitutional Court from September 1996 to December 1998 - until his appointment as judge at the Federal Court of Justice. On October 1, 2002, Karl-Hermann Zoll was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice and the VI. Civil Senate of the Federal Court of Justice has been assigned. He was temporarily a member of the IXa civil senate of the Federal Court of Justice . Most recently he was deputy chairman of the VI. Senate. After reaching the age limit, he retired on January 31, 2014.
