The building at Karl-Marx-Straße 26 is a listed residential and commercial building in the town of Thale in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the south side of Karl-Marx-Straße at the confluence with Stephanstraße in the center of Thale. Immediately to the west is the also listed building at Karl-Marx-Straße 24 .
Architecture and history
The three-storey massive building was built around 1900 and its appearance is reminiscent of a palace. The design took place in the forms of historicism . There is a fine plaster structure on the facade of the ground floor and on a bay window that protrudes only slightly on the side facing Karl-Marx-Straße. The facades of the upper floors are clinkered and are structured by plastered elements.
Shops are located on the ground floor.
Due to its prominent corner location, the building is considered to be significant in terms of urban planning.
In the local register of monuments , the residential and commercial building is listed as a historical building under registration number 094 45289 .
