Karl Aberle (publisher)

Karl Albert Aberle (born September 17, 1901 in Göppingen ; † October 8, 1963 there ) was a German publisher and politician ( SPD ). He was co-editor of the Neue Württembergische Zeitung .

Life

After attending elementary school, Aberle trained as a skilled worker. He initially worked as an industrial worker, but later changed his subject and worked as an editor until 1933. From 1933 to 1945 he worked as an industrial worker again.

After the end of World War II, he and Fritz Harzendorf received a license to publish a newspaper from the US control government . The first edition of the Neue Württembergische Zeitung appeared on August 2, 1946.

Aberle was a member of the municipal council of Göppingen and the district council of the district. From 1950 to 1952 he was a member of the state parliament of Württemberg-Baden .
