Karl Albrecht (* 1911 ; † after 1947 ) was a German SS member and block warden of the guard team of the Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp and block warden.

Albrecht was a member of the SS . From November 1944 he was a block warden in the Gusen II concentration camp .

After the end of the Second World War , Karl Albrecht was brought before a US military tribunal (General Military Government Court at Dachau, Germany 470424-470425) at the Dachau trials in April 1947. He was accused of having committed war and Nazi crimes against prisoners between November 1944 and January 1945 . He was charged with beating prisoners to death in the Gusen II concentration camp. Albrecht was found guilty and sentenced to death by hanging. The sentence was later changed to life imprisonment.
