Karl Auer (football official)

Karl Auer (born June 26, 1947 in Munich ) is a former football official. From March 2004, he was the successor to Karl-Heinz Wildmoser as president of the TSV 1860 Munich soccer club . On March 17, 2006, after two years and two days in office, he resigned on health grounds.

A member of the association since 1964, he has been a member of the supervisory board of TSV 1860 Munich since 1996.

Professionally, Auer and son Christian own the company Oberland GmbH (sales of international meat and sausage products) based in Holzkirchen .

Auer has two grown children.
