Karl August Lehmann (lawyer)

Karl August Ludwig Friedrich Lehmann (* 1833 ; † 1909 ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

Karl August Lehmann studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1854 he became a member of the Corps Vandalia Heidelberg . After graduation and the doctorate to Dr. jur. he started a career as a judge and became a councilor of appeal. In 1876 he was appointed to the Higher Appeal Court of the four Free Cities in Lübeck for Hamburg . His last position was 2nd President of the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg .

From 1875 to 1876 Lehmann was a member of the Oldenburg state parliament .
