The Karl Bachl GmbH & Co. KG is a German manufacturer of insulation materials , plastics , building materials and components as well as suppliers of construction services. The head office is in Röhrnbach , Deching district, in Lower Bavaria .
history
The company was founded in Deching in 1926 as a brick production facility . After the Second World War , the range of products and services related to the construction sector was expanded. The initially small brickworks has now developed into a group of companies with over 2,300 employees in Germany and abroad. In addition to the German production sites, plants and trading branches are now operated in Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Croatia and Romania.
From 1954, the product range was expanded to include concrete blocks, precast reinforced concrete parts and ready-mixed concrete. In 1969, plastics processing in Röhrnbach was put into operation, followed by the civil engineering division. In the 1990s, Karl Bachl GmbH & Co. KG expanded with the window and door sectors as well as some insulation material plants. For this purpose, the Brno insulation plant was founded in 1994 and the Bohumilice insulation plant in the Czech Republic in 2000.
