Karl Busch (born August 17, 1934 ) is a former German football player .

Athletic career

The attacking player who came from FC Singen 04 from the 2nd League South played for VfB Stuttgart from 1956 to 1958 . In the Oberliga Süd he came with VfB to a total of 17 games in which he scored three goals. He made his debut in the team of coach Georg Wurzer on October 14, 1956 in the away game against Freiburg FC in the league. VfB won the game in the Möslestadion with 7-2 goals and Busch scored one goal. The white-reds took fourth place in the south in 1956/57 and Erwin Waldner led the internal goalscorer list with fifteen hits. In his second Stuttgart season, 1957/58, the ex-Singener only made seven appearances, but scored two goals. He played his last league game on December 1, 1957, in a 3-1 home defeat against 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 . For the round 1958/59 he joined the Freiburg FC in the 2nd League South.

Since the semifinals and the final in 1958 were only played in the preliminary round in 1958/59, Busch was already under contract in Freiburg when Stuttgart won the DFB Cup .
