Karl Ernst Roessler

Karl Ernst Roessler (born October 12, 1919 in Berlin ; † November 3, 2012 ) was a German journalist.

Career

After graduating from high school in Berlin, Roessler studied law from 1937. At the same time he completed a journalistic training with the Berliner Lokalanzeiger . The military service interrupted his studies. In 1941 he passed the first state examination in law.

In August 1951 he came to the Donaukurier in Ingolstadt. He wrote first for the local editorial team, then for a long time for the features section. In 1968 he became editor-in-chief and later also a member of the management. He retired in February 1985.
