Karl Friedrich Ferdinand Reussner

Karl Friedrich Ferdinand Reussner (born October 9, 1813 in Triptis , † July 30, 1895 in Neustadt an der Orla ) was the Grand Ducal Superintendent , Senior Pastor and Councilor of Churches .

Life

Karl Friedrich Ferdinand Reussner was born in Triptis in 1813 . After studying at the University of Jena , he was initially a private tutor in Geroda and in 1856 became a deacon and rector of the city school in Weida . From 1856 to July 1867 he was pastor and superintendent in Dermbach . On July 7, 1867, he took over the post of pastor and superintendent in Neustadt an der Orla. He had three children with his wife Fanny Schmidt. Because of his services, he was made an honorary citizen of the city of Neustadt an der Orla on May 1, 1893, on the day of his retirement, in the city church. He died in Neustadt in 1895.
