Karl Ganahl

Karl Rudolf Ganahl (born May 13, 1860 in Feldkirch ; † October 15, 1927 there ) was an Austrian politician ( GDVP ) and manufacturer. From 1918 to 1919 he was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament .

Live and act

Ganahl was born the son of the factory owner Rudolf Romeo Ganahl (1833-1910) and his wife Maria Karolina Battlogg (1837-1923). On October 5, 1894 in Feldkirch, he married Katharina Martina Herburger (1873–1948), who was born in Dornbirn, and had one child in 1895, 1897 and 1901 respectively.

He was senior partner at Carl Ganahl u. Co. and was involved as a member of the German Freisinnigen Party and later the Greater German Party. He became a member of the provisional Vorarlberg state assembly on November 3, 1918 and was a member of the provisional Vorarlberg state assembly until June 16, 1919, as a representative of the German Freisinnige Party. In addition, during this time he was a substitute member of the Landesrat for Franz Feierle . In addition, Ganahl was Vice President of the regional association of the Austrian Military Widows and Orphans Fund and Vice President of the Vorarlberg Chamber of Commerce.
