Karl Heinz Juerging
Karlheinz Jürging (* 14. February 1935 in Ottweiler / Saar, † 3. April 2008 in Black Earth ) was a SPD - politician and deputy in the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament .
Grew up in black earth near Kusel and in Weiherbach / Idar-Oberstein. After studying to be a teacher at the advanced high school in Alzey, he taught at various schools in Rheinhessen, most recently at the secondary school in Wörrstadt. After the deputy school management at the GS Schornsheim, the school management at the GS Wallertheim followed. From 1987 to 1996, Jürging was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament for the SPD. Even after that, Jürging was still politically active for the Alzey-Worms district and his home town of Wörrstadt. At home he still felt connected to black earth, where Karl Heinz Jürging died on April 3, 2008.
