Karl Koepke

Karl Köpke (born January 1, 1926 in Rostock ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament .

Education and life

Karl Köpke attended elementary school from 1932 to 1936 and from 1936 the secondary school in Malchin. He then trained as a photographer and passed his master craftsman examination in Weimar in 1949. From 1950 he was self-employed with a photo studio in Halberstadt until he was disabled in 1989.

Karl Köpke, who is of Protestant denomination, is married and has two children.

politics

Karl Köpke, who was previously independent, became a member of the New Forum in October 1989 during the fall of the Wall and joined the SDP in November 1989 . In the first state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990, he was elected to the state parliament via the state list.
