Karl Kutschera (archaeologist)

Karl Kutschera (* 1905 in Meran ; † 1952 ) was an Austrian prehistoric scientist .

Karl Kutschera studied prehistory and early history at the University of Vienna and received his doctorate there in 1935. In 1940 he took up his post as the first full-time curator and state official of the Carnuntinum Museum , which he headed until his death. In 1947 and 1950 he examined the graves on the Kirchenberg in Bad Deutsch-Altenburg .
