Karl Liecke

Karl Rudolf Liecke (born September 10, 1922 in Magdeburg ; † after 1982), was a German actor on stage and television.

Life

Liecke received his acting training from the well-known film actor Hans Brausewetter during the Second World War and then played at theaters in Cottbus, Stendal, Halberstadt, Göggingen ( Kurhaus-Theater ), Osnabrück, Lübeck, Kiel, Hanover, Essen, Wiesbaden and Cologne. In addition, he gave guest performances and worked on radio, for example as Duke von Lauzun in the operetta Die Dubarry in a WDR production from 1976 or in the radio play Familienbande from 1977. Since 1963 he has appeared in small and medium-sized roles in a number of television plays as well as in TV adaptations of plays. At the same time, however, he remained loyal to the stage and appeared in such diverse pieces as Die Irre von Chaillot (1964), Schinderhannes (1966) and The Game of the Mighty (1977). Karl Liecke was also seen at the Salzburg Festival in the 1970s.
