Karl Linder (Manager)

Karl Linder was the operator of Messerschmitt GmbH Regensburg and from the end of 1944 was primarily responsible for the Messerschmitt management and armaments staff for the deployment of Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighters.

Karl Linder became head of the technical department at Messerschmitt GmbH Regensburg in 1939 and was the company's first operator between November 1942 and May 1943, before Linder was temporarily replaced in this position by Lucht, the aviation general staff engineer. Director Linder took over the management again in April 1944 from Lucht, when he was appointed to the special tasks of the hunting staff .

At the end of 1944, Karl Linder became the main person in charge of the entire Me-262 production with extensive powers and, as "Production Manager", was also responsible for setting up the assembly line, providing sufficient resources and skilled personnel in large underground manufacturing facilities such as B8 Bergkristall .
