Karl Ludwig Pichler
Karl Ludwig Pichler (born September 19, 1830 , † September 14, 1911 ) was a German English and Romance scholar .
life and work
Pichler studied from 1848 to 1852 at the University of Tübingen. He was a high school teacher in Wittstock (1863), Chur (1865) and Winterthur (1871). From 1879 to 1900 he was associate professor and head of the practical seminar for modern languages (French and English) at the University of Giessen . Then he lived in Friedrichshafen.
