Karl Pinkpank

Karl Pinkpank (born January 22, 1884 , † February 1, 1947 in Ribnitz ) was a German teacher , beekeeper , author and politician ( DB ).

Pinkpank studied at the teachers' college in Neukloster and had been a teacher since 1906, first in Kreien near Lübz, and from 1928 in Sanitz near Rostock, where he was also a sexton. From 1921 to 1924 Pinkpank was a member of the state parliament of the Free State of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (3rd electoral period).

From 1926 he was head of the press office of the German Beekeeping Association and wrote up to 300 press releases a month. For the Mecklenburg beekeeper newspaper "Uns' Immen" he wrote texts, including a. in Low German. Karl Pinkpank was ousted from the DIB in 1933. From 1933 to 1938, Pinkpank was the treasurer of the state beekeeping group Mecklenburg - until a falling out with the managing director of the Reichsfachgruppe beekeeping, Karl Hans Kickhöffel . In 1945 Pinkpank became the first chairman of the state association of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania beekeepers.
