Karl Prince of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg

Maria Karl Emanuel Ludger Petrus Prince zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg (born January 18, 1952 in Weeze ) is a German manager. From 2011 to 2017 he was chairman of the board of Malteser Hilfsdienst e. V.

Life

Karl Prinz zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg is the second of seven children of Johannes Prinz zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg and Christine, née Freiin von Loë . He completed his studies at the University of Karlsruhe (TH) in 1979 with a degree in industrial engineering . He then worked in the management of Procter & Gamble GmbH until 1984 and at Mars GmbH from 1985 to 1999 .

From 2000 to 2017 he was involved in the board and management of Malteser Hilfsdienst and Malteser Germany, most recently he headed the boards and management boards of Malteser Hilfsdienst and Malteser Deutschland gGmbH. Löwenstein has been a member of the Sovereign Order of Malta since 1985 . He represents the Maltese in the Central Committee of German Catholics .

He has been married to Maria-Assunta, nee Freiin von Weichs zur Wenne (* 1952) , since July 30, 1978 . He is the father of four grown children and lives in Brüggen .
