Karl Sperl (soccer player, 1935)

Karl Sperl (born February 4, 1935 in Heusenstamm ) is a former German soccer player and soccer coach. From 1955 to 1958 he played at Kickers Offenbach on the left winger position. Coming from TSV Heusenstamm, however, he had an opponent in Siegfried Gast whom he could not displace in the long run. Sperl mostly played with the reserve, but made 32 appearances with five goals in the first eleven. In 1958 Kurt Schreiner brought him back to TSV Heusenstamm . He later worked as a trainer in Heusenstamm and at SG Rosenhöhe . Today he is a member of the board of the traditional “Waldis” team.
