Karl Steinhart (politician)

Karl Steinhart (born April 28, 1926 in Herten , † October 24, 1988 ) was a German SPD politician .

education and profession

Karl Steinhart attended elementary school, vocational school, adult education center and the social academy. He was initially managing director and later director of Vestische Stadtbahnen GmbH, Herten / Westphalia.

politics

Karl Steinhart was a member of the SPD from 1949. He was chairman of the Herten local association and an advisory member of the SPD's transport committee, and from 1945 a member of the union. Steinhart was councilor of the city of Herten from 1960 and a member of the Recklinghausen district council. He acted as deputy chairman of the Labor Law Association of North Rhine-Westphalia and was chairman of the labor directors for local transport.

From July 25, 1966 to July 25, 1970, Karl Steinhart was a directly elected member of the 6th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 095 Recklinghausen-Land III.
