Karla Osuna

Karla Osuna Pérez (born May 7, 1991 in Caracas ) is a Venezuelan photo model .

Life

Karla Osuna attended the Colegio Santa Cecilia inn Caracas and then began studying "Comunicación Social" (roughly equivalent to media communication) at the Universidad Católica Santa Rosa. At 17 she began working as a model, and in 2008 Karla Osuna conducted photo sessions with Karla López and María Laura Mederos , among others . She appeared as an outside reporter for the television entertainment show En Pelotas on Canal Plus.

Karla Osuna's life took a dramatic turn when, accompanied by two elderly men, including her partner Emiliano Zapata, she was arrested on September 21, 2012 by a special unit of the Venezuelan police in the coastal town of Higuerote for drug trafficking. 201 kilograms of cocaine were found in one of the vehicles used by the three people .

While her boyfriend and Eddy Blanco, who was also arrested, managed to escape from the remand prison on November 19, 2012 by bribing a national guard, Karla Osuna, who was charged with aiding in drug trafficking on November 21, 2012, was transferred to a women's prison in Coro . An application for release from prison was not granted, and on August 6, 2013, the country's Supreme Court upheld her continued detention. At the beginning of 2015, Osuna was released on parole.

Karla's sister Geraldine Osuna (born March 18, 1989) also works as a model.
